Meet the face
behind the posts
Hey y’all, I’m Meghan — For those of you who don’t know me, let me introduce myself. I am blessed to have the best parents in the world who made me the oldest of 5 (my littlest sister is 18 years younger than me!) I spent the first 22 years of my life living in Monroeville, Alabama and then heading off to the big city to finish college at Auburn University. During my time at Auburn I made some incredible friends, partied a little too hard, and managed to graduate only a semester late! Shortly after Auburn I moved to Wisconsin for a boy (ugh), the boy didn’t last too long – however, I did graduate with a M.B.A. from Concordia University Wisconsin, was finally able to spend time with my extended family, hang with my gramps, and start my career. After 3.5 years battling the cold Wisconsin winters, I decided it was time for a change. A friend from college was looking for a roommate in Atlanta, Georgia so off I went. For the second time in my life I moved to a new state, with no job, I just knew I needed a change. I lived OTP (outside the perimeter) in Atlanta for the the next 5 years, met some incredible women through North Point Community Church small groups, attended more concerts/sporting events than I can count, joined a wiffleball team, and took complete advantage of Hartsfield-Jackson International airport!

While living in Atlanta had some amazing benefits, it also has its fair share of challenges: traffic, difficulties with dating, and expenses. Living in Atlanta was the first time I ever really had “my own money” that I could spend however I wanted. I chose TRAVEL – traveling has always been something that feeds my soul and helps remind me of the things that are important to me. Over the years I’ve had friends and family say things like “I wish I could travel like you”, “how do you choose your destinations”, “I’m living vicariously through you”. So, I decided to write a blog about my travel experiences to encourage people to “Go, Travel, Do” and not to wait around for the perfect time. The blog has now morphed into travel, dating, and life! Please leave your favorite travel recommendations, comments, and something unique about you! We are all unique, let’s embrace it!
